Goosnargh Cakes
A traditional
Lancashire recipe which combines a crumbly soft shortbread-like
texture with the exotic flavours of coriander and caraway
seeds.
Named after
the Lancashire town that the recipe originates from,
Goosnargh cakes have become one of our most popular
biscuits. We didn't think that they would be to everyones
taste but are continually surprised at how many people
of all ages really take to them.
Ingredients:
Locally produced fresh butter, locally produced plain
flour, unrefined organic sugar, ground coriander, caraway
seed.
